New applicants should be aware that the minimum age as of December 31, 2022, is 17 years. Although there is no maximum age restriction this time, aspirants above the age of 25 would be allowed to apply for NEET 2022, according to MCI.
Applicants must qualify for these qualifications to apply for the NEET examination. From a recognized institute, the candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent. Candidates who are appearing for Class 12 or equivalent in summer 2022 can also apply for NEET-UG 2022. Candidates from open schools are also eligible to apply for the NEET examination.
The applicants should complete 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible.
The general category needs to get at least 50 percent.
PWD category students should have at least 45 percent.
SC/ST/OBC category students must obtain 40 percent
The application process for the NEET examination is completely online. To apply for the NEET exam, the students need to visit the official website- www.neetnta.nic.in The application fees are as usual different for each category. Those belonging to the general category need to pay 1600. General EWS and OBC category students need to pay 1500. SC, ST & PwD category students need to pay a total amount of 900. The students living abroad need to pay 8500.
